The EIRME is a key actor for the protection of our Environment.

The French, the Europeans, the world populations are very sensitive about Ecology ; they are concerned with the threats looming ahead, they are curious about the future.
The EIRME provides the tools, the ideas, the concepts to tackle the Environment matters with effectiveness and clarity.

The citizens feel responsible : they accept the necessity to act in favor of the Environment, but they want to remain free and enlightened.

They are wary of the fear peddlers, and they know that the man greatness is to implement the conditions which make the true progress achievable.

The EIRME is organized with scientists, technicians, economists, sociologists, who have demonstrated a capacity of leading a balanced approach about ecology. The purpose is not to accept being blinded by major fears with little thinking, but to carefully weigh the various stakes, technical, scientific, economical, and to decide with full balance, without passion.
The EIRME proposes its assistance to those who are worried by some unilateral theses which may be voiced. The EIRME is at their disposal to help them putting the issues in perspective, and figure out the optimal conceptions : the ones which allow to solve the environmental problems, for a minimum cost and a better efficiency, both scientific and societal.
The actions of the EIRME are located at the hub point between science and politics. The environment issues have sometimes been absorbed by the political sphere, and this resulted in a shift of their perspective, with the plus and minus which go with this.
The plus are the solidarity and the appropriation by the citizens, who take into account the contribution that each one of them can bring to all the others.
The minus are the weight of the lobbies of all kind, the ideological a priori, the skew brought by the ambitions and by the stances, the bureaucratic constraints and the suboptimal economical conditions.
The role of the EIRME is decisive to enter the sheer progress cycle : a well protected environment, through the use of well adjusted tools.
